Health and safety shipshape

A maritime security and training firm, Maritime Asset Security and Training (MAST) Ltd, has been accredited with the international occupational health and safety management standard, OHSAS 18001, for its global operations, including Nigeria, Sri Lanka, India and Oman.

Briefly, OHSAS 18001 is an internationally recognised British standard for occupational health and safety management systems and is an requirement for many global organisations across the supply chain. The application for accreditation involves a safety audit across operations, including assessments of staff and management.
