International consultancy course

by Mark Rowe

The exam awarding body IQ Arabia and Buckinghamshire New University have signed an agreement for the delivery of the International Certified Security Consultant (ICSC) course. The Qualification, owned by Buckinghamshire New University, is now available in the Gulf through IQ Arabia which has exclusive rights for the qualification in the region.

The exam body and the UK university say that the ICSC course has been customised to fit the region’s requirements. At the end of the course, participants who have passed the training will receive a certificate from IQ Arabia as well as from Bucks New University.

The course is aimed at those who wish to secure employment at a management level within the security industry or sectors related to security. It can also be applied as part of continuing development to aid licensing criteria by the SIA or other security related field, they add.

Also, the ICSC is aimed at non-security industry candidates who may be broadening their service to target larger companies, that may need a higher level of general security and may seek an employee responsible for all security issues and wider resilience.
