MSc first intake

by Mark Rowe

Perpetuity Training Academy reports that the first intake of the MSc in International Security and Risk Management is under way. It’s a collaboration between the security management training company Perpetuity and the University of South Wales, that they call the first of its kind.

Education and Training Director at Perpetuity, Ken Livingstone, pictured, said: “The course is designed to enable students to study around their other commitments, and by focusing on commercially relevant professional content and modern learning techniques we aim to provide students with the tools and academic qualifications to further their career.”

Students have the option of completing the course in 12 or 24 months and the choice of two intakes a year. Key subject areas are criminology, loss prevention, crime at work, fraud, and terrorism along with, security management functions, strategy, finance and entrepreneurialism. Organisers report that the course has already received more than 200 enquiries and more than 60 applications.

All students joining the MSc are enrolled as full members of the University of South Wales, with access to student resources such as the university’s on-line library. Visit http://www.perpetuitytraining.com/.
