Tips against phone scams

by msecadm4921

In an effort to raise public awareness of telephone scams and, it’s claimed, a growing black market in personal information, an employee security awareness consultancy, The Security Company, outlines policies and procedures to protect staff and customers against rogue cold-call companies in a new report on its website: http://www.thesecurityco.com.

Hannah Tufts of The Security Company says: “This groundswell in activity against the misuse of personal information is representative of our relatively new way of living in the digital age.

“It is becoming more evident that consumers are now realising the value of their personal information and the necessity to protect it both online and offline. However the buck doesn’t stop here; awareness and education must be a continuous and sustained effort.”
