Ambulance add to CTX

by Mark Rowe

The events company Clarion Events has added to its UK defence and security shows: AMBITION, the national annual event for NHS ambulance services, their suppliers and partner agencies, which Clarion are looking to co-locate alongside Counter Terror Expo and Forensics Europe Expo, next running on April 29 and 30, 2014.

The addition of AMBITION to Counter Terror Expo will provide a crisis response management element to the event, which held its fifth edition in April 2013 welcoming 9,264 attendees. The two events will provide one umbrella event for organisations involved in the emergency response, crisis management, resilience and pre-hospital care sector. AMBITION is the organisers say the only complete conference, exhibition and networking event for managers and directors from all NHS ambulance services and the wider pre-hospital care sector.

Founder of the AMBITION event Carl Rees says: โ€œAMBITION has been built around excellent content that allows professionals of all levels to learn something new and develop their knowledge and capabilities and provide excellent networking opportunities with other multiagency partners. This results in an exhibition that presents new products and technology in exciting ways that emphasise their benefits to patients as much as their efficiencies to managers.โ€

โ€œWe have teamed up with Clarion Events as a credible partner for AMBITION that knew how to produce large scale events and had the structure behind it to help the event grow and I will now work alongside the Clarion team to take the new event forward.โ€

Clarion add that they are already in discussions with suitable organisations who they would like to work with to develop the new event. Ambulance-related organisations who may be interested in speaking to Clarion about potential participation in this event should contact either Philip Hunter ([email protected]) or Carl Rees ([email protected]) to discuss further.

Philip Hunter, Event Director at Clarion Events says: โ€œAMBITION and the pre-hospital care market provide a great fit with our other events and clients and there are many crossovers in terms of content areas. This is why we felt we had a lot to offer to take AMBITION to the next level and we are looking forward to building a first rate show for the emergency response, crisis management, resilience and pre-hospital care sectors.โ€

And Carl Rees says: โ€œFor exhibitors, AMBITION is all about bringing ambulance service suppliers closer to the people who buy their products in more meaningful ways than before. Ambulance staff, from a variety of levels, have valuable ideas and key input into the development and testing of new vehicles, kit and equipment. However there are very limited opportunities to bring suppliers and buyers together in a way that genuinely helps both parties. AMBITIONโ€™s new position, dates and co-location will do exactly this.โ€
