Aviation contract

by Mark Rowe

A three year, £2m contract with the Civil Aviation Authority, the UK’s aviation regulator, has gone to the outsourced services company Mitie.

The contract will see Mitie providing security personnel, access control services, on-site CCTV monitoring, mobile security, and reception services. The contractor says that this new contract further strengthens the presence of Mitie’s total security management business in the aviation sector.

Bob Forsyth, managing director of Mitie’s total security management business said: “We’re delighted to be working with the CAA, a world leading organisation in its field, to deliver the specialist services they require. We look forward to developing our partnership over the next three years.”
