Award from Santander

by Mark Rowe

TALL Security Print, part of the TALL Group of Companies, a provider of secure print and electronic payments services, has received a supplier award from Santander for the fourth time in as many years. The company was presented with a top performing supplier award in recognition of the service delivered to the financial firm during the previous 12 months.

TALL Security Print was commended for the production of a range of specially printed cheques, credits, internal banking documents and passbooks that are delivered to Santander’s network of branches or direct to the end users. Recently, the companymade a dedicated Customer Support Team based at its Runcorn office to fulfil branch and business customer document requirements. The firm says that the specialist nature of the secure print products and solutions offered mean that the Customer Support Team now provide ‘direct’ access to Santander documentation at ‘point of source’ and not through an intermediary department, thus speeding up the fulfilment of customer and client orders.

Peter Andrew, TALL Group Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Our aim is to evolve and innovate in order to provide our key customers with a market leading portfolio of products and services. This award from Santander is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. This new arrangement solidifies our working partnership with Santander, building on a trusted relationship which stemmed from success working with Alliance & Leicester and Girobank previously.”

The company originally worked with Girobank more than 20 years ago. Girobank later became Alliance & Leicester and was then acquired by Santander in 2010.

The two firms have made a number of mutually beneficial initiatives, one of which involved a recent site visit by Lindsay Williams, Senior Manager at Geoban, the Santander-owned operating company. Lindsay delivered a presentation to the staff based at Runcorn on supplier quality and control. She provided insight into the operating company’s day-to-day operations and strategy moving forward, as well as explaining what her organisation expects from its suppliers.

“We are delighted to welcome our customers here to see our site and the dedicated staff that fulfil their orders. To have such a well presented vision of what our clients expect of us helps the Runcorn team see the benefits of their actions and how the relationship is building for the future,” Peter added.

TALL Security Print this year celebrates its 25th anniversary year in Runcorn.
