BOSS development

by Mark Rowe

The British Oil Security Syndicate (BOSS), the not-for-profit independent trade body working against forecourt crime, reports that Gary Worrow has joined as development adviser.

Mr Worrow, pictured, will be responsible for developing the BOSS Electronic Reporting System (ERS) as an integrated management system that helps retailers to reduce forecourt crime.

He joins BOSS from BP, where, in a career spanning more than 30 years, he gained experience of downstream oil industry operations. His operational roles covered retail, transport and bulk storage, specialising in security, risk, emergency, crisis management and business continuity response planning.

Kevin Eastwood, executive director at BOSS, said: “We’re delighted that Gary has agreed to join BOSS. He brings considerable experience of the challenges faced by our members and his knowledge will be a valuable addition to the service BOSS provides forecourt retailers.”
