Carlisle joins RSSB

by Mark Rowe

Carlisle Support Services is the first Facilities Management company to become an affiliate of RSSB. That’s the rail sector membership body, a not-for-profit company that does research and standards-setting on health and occupational safety, and under its umbrella has such schemes and services as CIRAS (Confidential Incident Reporting & Analysis Service).

Paul Evans, Chief Executive Officer of Carlisle Support Services, said: “We are thrilled that Carlisle Support Services has become the first provider of FM people-based services to join the RSSB affiliate scheme. We look forward to enhancing our presence within the rail industry and utilising the expertise and collaboration available to deliver a better, safer railway.

“As trusted service partners to many of the UK Train Operating Companies, it is affiliations with influential boards such as RSSB which will ensure we continuously improve upon our service delivery to our employees and clients.”

And Paul McLaughlin, Engagement Director of RSSB, said: “We look forward to working with them and providing them access to our rich knowledge base and resources to support their goal of providing a clean, safe environment for the travelling public and the employees who work on the railway.”

About the firm
