Forecourt fraud fight

BOSS, the British Oil Security Syndicate, has entered a partnership with the fuel card services company Allstar to combat fraud on UK forecourts.

The joint working will see BOSS and Allstar sharing information on incidents and suspected fraudsters. Paul Baker, fraud manager at Allstar, said: “Allstar is working with BOSS to assist in the prevention of forecourt crime including drive-offs. This exciting collaboration will enable unique sharing of information to assist with ongoing fraud investigations and reduce other forms of crime.”

BOSS executive director Kevin Eastwood added: “We’re very pleased to be working with Allstar to tackle payment fraud on forecourts. By joining forces we’ll be able to extend the reach of our fight against crime committed at service stations.”
