GJD at ST18 North

GJD is among the companies again exhibiting at the free to attend Security TWENTY 18 North conference and exhibition. Like last summer (conference room pictured), the event is set at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, north Yorkshire; on Thursday, July 5. Doors open at 8.30am allowing access to the exhibition with the conference running between 10am and 1.30 pm. The exhibition will close at about 4pm. GJD will be showing its expanded range of external motion detectors, IP enabled sensors, lasers and LED illuminators.

Neil Hennessy, GJD’s Technical Sales Manager said: “We had such a successful event last year, we are looking forward to meeting everyone and showcasing our new technology.”

GJD’s products on show will include the D-TECT Laser, which provides internal and external laser surveillance. The makes say the D-TECT Laser is suited for a range of sectors from sensitive military installations and prestigious residential properties to public and commercial sectors. GJD’s IP range provide the installer with real time remote monitoring access via a secure web-based interface. The interface offers the ability to monitor from anywhere, at any time. There are no requirements for other installation or software, as the user logs in through a web address.

Clarius PLUS Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators will also be on display. Clarius provides even illumination for CCTV cameras, which maximises the camera performance and ensures quality images. Clarius is also available as IP and PoE versions, which provides smart lighting and can be integrated into a networked system.

The invited conference speakers are lone worker trainer Nicole Vazquez, the chair of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Elizabeth France CBE, Ron Gregory of the National Association for Healthcare Security (NAHS), and security consultant Simon Whitehouse. Also in the morning, manufacturer updates from Hanwha, Seagate, Anixter and Hikvision. The conference will be chaired by ST regular Mike White.
