by Mark Rowe

Hikvision, the Chinese video surveillance products company, reports the opening of a new European Head Office and Logistics Centre in the Netherlands.

The new office at Hoofddorp near Schipol airport outside Amsterdam occupies a total space of over 2000 square meters, giving Hikvision the capacity to accommodate more employees, and providing more warehouse space for storage. The office also has much larger demonstration and training areas, Hikvision adds.

Derek Yang, General Manager at Hikvision Europe, says: “The opening of our new European Head Office and Logistics Centre is the culmination of six years of resounding success, with year on year figures consistently reaching over 50pc growth. With this extensive growth, the need for extension of office and warehouse space has become more and more significant. “We appreciate the continued support from our customers over the years. The expansion aims to further strengthen those relationships, providing more efficient local sales and support for them. We are looking forward to a bright future ahead.”

Hikvision Europe has five local branch offices in Italy, France, Spain, UK (in Maidenhead, Surrey) and Poland. The company says that it plans to expand further. The move to the new building will be completed on March 29, 2016. The address for the new European head office is: Dirk Storklaan 3, 2132 PX Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.
