NDI conference

NDI, a division of EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, representing Britain’s defence, security, aerospace and space industries, is holding a two day conference and dinner in November.

The conference will examine the risks and opportunities within the defence, security, aerospace and space sectors. Topics to be covered will include Brexit negotiations, future developments in North American markets and the seemingly growing risk from cyber-attack. Speakers will include Harriet Baldwin, the Minister of State for Defence Procurement at the Ministry of Defence; figures within the industry sectors and thought leaders from public and private sectors.

Also planned are ‘meet the buyer’ sessions through facilitated one on one meetings. There will also be key breakout panels led by the MoD, Thales and Airbus.

Other speakers will include Richard Daniel – CEO, of defence firm Raytheon; Brian Johnson – Business Development Director, BAE Systems Maritime; Professor Trevor Taylor – Professorial Research Fellow, at the defence think tank the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI); and Mark Camillo – Head of Cyber, AIG.
