Some 21 NSI approved companies and individuals are short-listed as finalists in this year’s UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs), announced tomorrow afternoon, as part of a global awards scheme running in 12 countries. The OSPAs recognise outstanding performance in the private security sectors. This year’s UK OSPAs awards show is ‘virtually’ on February 25. The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is sponsoring the Outstanding Security Installer/Integrator category.
Those NSI approved companies and individuals between them have 51 nominations, across categories; including Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding), Outstanding Event Security Team and Outstanding Security Installer/Integrator. Through a rigorous and transparent process, the OSPAs judges have recognised the finalists’ exceptional company and individual performance.
Richard Jenkins, NSI Chief Executive, pictured, said: “The UK OSPAs celebrate outstanding performance and achievements and supporting these awards is important to NSI and our dedication to raising Standards in the private security sector. We congratulate all the finalists and wish them every success at this year’s OSPAs and beyond.”
Over 700 people have already booked their places to attend the UK OSPAs virtually. There will be guest appearances from Paul Sinha (ITV’s ‘The Sinnerman’); and Alan Dedicoat, known as the ‘Voice of the Balls’ on the National Lottery programmes.
