At the staff screening company Agenda, Chris Withers has been promoted to the position of Head of Screening and IT. The company points to Chris’s expertise in Cyber Essentials, ISO27001 lead auditor compliance and screening software.
Chris already manages the Agenda IT network team, hardware updates, vulnerability testing, software security and leads the project to introduce the new Pre-Employment Screening System (PrESS) and so these new responsibilities of managing the screening division are part of his natural progression and a reflection of his personal development since joining, Agenda says.
Chris said: “I am looking forward to contributing to our growth strategy, I believe that IT should be an enabler that helps our screening teams to do their work diligently to a high quality whilst also freeing up their time to retain the personal touch for clients and their candidates.”

And Anna Smith has been promoted to a new position of Head of Marketing and Office Admin. Anna’s marketing, social media, organisational and project management skills have made her progression into this role seamless, the firm says.
Anna has managed the Marketing and Communications Division for many years, is the ISO9001 quality management champion and is the Agenda lead on web development and social media. Anna has been involved in office projects, organisation of events and support for the Agenda charity. Anna has taken a role in Agenda’s Manager’s Big Challenge.
