Summit registration opens

by Mark Rowe

Registration is open for the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) annual Summit. It’s running on Thursday, March 21, at The Vox Conference Centre at the Birmingham NEC. Approved companies can now register at: www.nsisummit.co.uk.

In its sixth year, this free to attend one day event offers an opportunity for approved companies to gain insights on industry developments. It’s a day for obtaining practical, tangible ideas and hear expert perspectives on the latest best practice standards from industry specialists and NSI’s technical staff, the inspectorate says.

Building on its theme of ‘Strengthening Partnerships’ the Summit is aimed at private security and fire safety companies within the sector working with clients, police and the fire service, insurers and industry stakeholders. This year’s speaker programme has three dedicated streams of topical sessions on Security Services, Fire Safety and Electronic Security.

Richard Jenkins, NSI Chief Executive, pictured speaking at the 2017 Summit, said: “This year’s Summit will play host to a vibrant exhibitor community and there is plenty of new insight and learning to be gleaned in our industry leading education programme. We look forward to welcoming the UK’s security and fire safety professionals to what will be a richly rewarding, not-to-be-missed day for every approved company committed to developing their security offering, raising standards and striving for excellence in today’s diverse and fast-changing market place.”
