WPS at Parkex exhibition

by Mark Rowe

WPS, the car parking product company, is to demonstrate its ParkAdvance Pay-On-Foot product, pictured, at the annual Parkex exhibition on June 15 and 16.

The WPS stand will show new payment and ticketing methods including contactless payment, and tokenised Card-In / Card-Out ticketless operation as well as new payment apps. WPS will also exhibit ParkAdvance’s fully IP based system, including: centralised control; integration of existing and future car parking management technologies; and new reporting features. Simon Jarvis, Managing Director, WPS says: “The customer benefits of being able to identify issues offsite are substantial.

“It means we will be able to identify specific terminal functions that require maintenance before service issues arise, further refining the reliability and uptime of our equipment and ultimately reducing the overall cost to the client. We are committed to investing in the latest technologies and applications that will help us further our reputation for quality, reliability and service. And because ParkAdvance is fully IP-based, we are able to add new integrated functionality as it becomes available, ‘future proofing’ our systems and giving our customers the competitive advantage.”

The exhibition at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry will mark WPS’ first public appearance as part of Dynniq.
