Access Control

Pre-sales technical consultant

by Mark Rowe

Ali Tremasi, pictured, has joined access control manufacturer Inner Range as a pre-sales technical consultant. His role includes designing integrated access and security systems for would-be customers, consulting on potential system designs and seeing that integrators and end-users understand what the company can deliver.

The company’s flagship product is Integriti, an integrated access control platform, meaning multiple integrations with third party systems must work for customers. Tremasi will work with Inner Range’s sales team, listening to customers and suggesting solutions that work for site users as well as system operators.

Tremasi was a technical engineer for Hikvision, and a BT field engineer for tech support and delivery firm Enjoy UK. He’s been going through technical training with Inner Range to bring him up to speed.

He said: “Customers need solutions that make life easier all round, and these are usually underpinned by some pretty complex technical work to create sophisticated integrated systems. The technical challenge is really rewarding for me. I love the problem-solving aspect of creating and tailoring systems that really make a difference to businesses.

“I’m also excited to join a growing global company. There’s opportunity for me professionally, and as well as for customers. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.”

Inner Range Director Tim Northwood said: “Ali’s solid engineering experience is a great foundation for joining our team. He’ll be working closely with our sales team to help them answer questions and design potential system solutions to meet customer needs that are often highly bespoke.”

The company says that it has seen strong sales in the UK and Europe this year, and adds that sales channels have been integrated with parent company and global distributor Anixter. Visit https://innerrange.com/.
