Fire accreditation

by Mark Rowe

ISD Tech, the Surrey-based security systems installer, has achieved BAFE accreditation for installation of fire detection systems.

Nicky Stokes, Managing Director of ISD Tech, said: “The extension of our capability into fire enables us to offer turnkey fire detection and alarm systems together with integrated security solutions. The expansion is a direct result of our customers wanting the responsiveness and agility we already bring to electronic security. The combined offering means our customers can benefit from those same industry-leading service levels for their fire safety. At the same, engaging ISD Tech as a single source partner, enables organisations to realise significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.”

ISD Tech received the certification through the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), as approved by BAFE, incorporating fire detection and alarm systems. Inspecting ISD Tech to BAFE SP203, the scheme is acknowledged by the fire and rescue services, government and insurers.

ISD Tech is shortlisted in three categories at this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards; go to www.isd-tech.com.
