Business development manager

At the distributor Oprema, Carl Spencer (pictured) has joined as Business Development Manager. He has over 22 years of experience within security distribution, installation and most recently manufacturing. Carl begun his security career with Norbain, where he spent over 12 years, in positions including Business Development and Key Account Management for their Corporate Division. After a brief period with a security installer, Carl’s most recent role was Business Development Manager with FLIR, selling Enterprise VMS Solutions and thermal imaging cameras across the UK.

Carl’s main areas will be London and the South East of England, covering CCTV, access control, fire and intruder alarm disciplines. Carl said: “I am delighted to join Oprema at such an exciting time and am very much looking forward to the challenge ahead and contributing to the continued growth and success of the company. I have already been very impressed with the Oprema setup and clear focus on being a true value-added distributor and can’t wait to bring that to the market.”
