Corporate video walls

by Mark Rowe

The control room video wall company eyevis UK has launched its LED video walls into the corporate market. The firm meanwhile reports a £1m deal to supply a 0.9mm LED video wall to a multi-national media client for its new European headquarters in the UK.

The eyevis ePANEL product range offers LED modules for indoor video walls. The company said that clients from across Europe were now enquiring about the LED solutions for a range of projects.

All ePANEL products are designed to be used indoors, for high resolution video walls with small pixel pitch. The modules are the company says suited for applications that require a seamless and quality display of videos and images as in retail and TV studios; and now the new technology is allowing their use in mission-critical control rooms. Features include bezel-free 16:9 modules for native 1080p, 4K and customised LED video walls, low power consumption and noise-free operation, according to the firm.

eyevis’ products include industrial modular displays, LED illuminated rear projection and the narrowest bezel industrial LCDs; video wall controllers and video wall control software.

eyevis UK managing director Steve Murphy, pictured, said: “The latest eyevis technology means that, for the first time, there is an indoor LED solution which provides the highest quality and resolution. We are delighted to launch this to the corporate market, where the potential applications for such a system are widespread. The sector is now becoming more aware of the possibilities and we are already getting a high number of enquiries.”

eyevis UK adds that its equipment is installed across the UK in CCTV control rooms for local authorities, banks, road traffic monitoring, emergency services, blue chip retailers, security services, prisons and other Government buildings.
