IDIS at IFSEC 2018

by Mark Rowe

The latest surveillance technology from IDIS will be showcased on stand C140 at IFSEC, the annual exhibition at ExCel, London, from June 19 to 21. There end-users, installers, consultants and distributors can see new system-building flexibility and cost advantages, the firm says.

The HE-1101 HDMI/VGA Video Encoder allows operators to oversee multiple applications from a single monitor and is installed by connecting hardware with a VGA or HDMI output. Also making a debut at IFSEC; the latest IDIS Smartphone Cam and Privacy Masking technology. IDIS Critical Failover prevents loss of recorded data during an array of fault conditions, ranging from network instability to power supply failure. The H.265 IR PTZ camera provides images using an 8MP Auto Focus lens and comes with infra-red IR LED for smooth motion detection and image analysis of objects at up to 200m at night.

Visitors can also view IDIS Center video management software, which the firm says allows users to make savings in building a central control room or monitoring centre. Lifecycle costs using the cost free IDIS Center can be up to 50 percent lower it’s claimed compared with server-based solutions thanks to zero configuration resulting in reduced installation time, and easier maintenance with the seven-year IDIS warranty.

James Min, Managing Director, IDIS Europe, pictured, said: “At this year’s IFSEC we really have something for everyone. Our extended line up and new technologies clearly demonstrate our continued focus on innovations that create value for the entire security buying chain. At IDIS we know that the quality of support we give consultants, installers, end-users and distributors really sets us apart in the market. The IDIS team look forward to welcoming IFSEC visitors on to our stand C140.”

Consultants and architects can investigate the support available to them for all projects, beginning with the system feasibility stage, through preliminary design to implementation and commissioning. IDIS was among the first manufacturers to introduce BIM modelling and consultants are supported by IDIS’ specification documents, standard compliance information, technical drawings and free classroom and on-line training.
