IDIS office in Dubai, managers

The manufacturer IDIS has appointed a new General Manager and Regional Sales Manager with dedicated Middle East responsibilities, and announced the opening of the IDIS Middle East headquarters in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis. IDIS made the announcements at Intersec 2015 in Dubai .

Harry Kwon, pictured, a IDIS global business manager, has been named General Manager for the Middle East. Kwon has supported IDIS business initiatives in Middle East, Russia, and Australian marketplaces for more than ten years, and will be based out of the company’s new Dubai regional head office. IDIS also appointed Jamil Alasfar as Regional Sales Manager. Alasfar will develop the Middle East and North African markets.

IDIS also announced the opening of a permanent regional head office in Dubai Silicon Oasis. The 7.2 million square meter master planned community includes a technology park and provides both a living and working integrated community for firms including Fujitsu and Western Digital.
