Arecont Vision, the US maker of IP-based megapixel cameras, is showing its new MegaVideo G5 Megapixel Cameras at ISC West, the annual US trade show. MegaVideo G5 cameras include the company’s STELLAR (Spatio TEmporal Low Light ARchitecture) Low Light Technology. This is the company’s fifth generation of MegaVideo cameras.
Available in single sensor configurations in 1.2MP, 1080p, 3MP, 5MP, and 10MP resolutions, optional remote focus/zoom p-iris lenses have also been added. The G5 version comes with on-board SDMC card storage up to 32GB, and with CorridorView, which allows the camera image to be rotated 90 degrees for more coverage of hallways and corridors. The products also feature the ability to scale images to different resolutions to better meet system bandwidth and storage requirements.
Brad Donaldson, Director of Product Management, Arecont Vision, said: “Our new MegaVideo G5 Megapixel Cameras provide even higher levels of performance, further expanding their range of applications. With innovations such as STELLAR™ low light imaging, Arecont Vision’s industry-leading MegaVideo® G5 cameras can further improve situational awareness and security for virtually any application.”
