Mobile DVR

by msecadm4921

Hikvision has launched a new series of mobile DVR — DS-8100HMFI-T. Able to take up to 12 video inputs and to work with vibration and unstable power supply, the digital video recorder is suitablye for trains and other vehicles, the manufacturers say.

The product offers 3G/WI-FI data transmission for video, location, brake signals and speed at user’s choice.

The product adopts patented hard-disk vibration reduction to keep the device running stably in a moving vehicle. The recorder conforms to ISO 16750 standard for electrical and electronic equipment, and can withstand acceleration shock value of 50G, according to the makers. The DVR has a built-in redundant power supply which starts whenever the external power supply stops, so that the product has time to shut down normally, to avoid data loss and damage to the disks. The DVR supports two 2.5-inch pluggable SATA HDD/SSD disks with a capacity of 500GB each. The H.264 video compression is available for each analogue channel with 4CIF real time encoding which enhances the image quality during viewing and playback. Dual stream is also supported, with the sub stream allowing remote preview and mobile phone monitoring via limited bandwidth. For more information, visit Hikvision’s website at www.hikvision.com.
