Norbain at IFSEC

by msecadm4921

Since IFSEC 2011, distributor Norbain’s IP portfolio has grown by nearly 50 per cent. To support this expansion, Norbain are using IFSEC to launch new services: Norbain Academy and Norbain Service Plus. The academy provides customers with courses aimed at enhancing their knowledge of IP technology, CCTV, access control and intruder detection. Service Plus will seek to add to customers’ skill sets. This support can be used to reduce the risk of installations, minimise time spent on site by engineers and make new technologies, such as IP, more accessible.

Norbain will be running a series of seminars from a seminar theatre on the stand across all four days of the show. Subjects will include:

• How IP technology has changed the way we store data

• The advantages of remotely hosted CCTV

• The opportunities and benefits of partnering with Norbain

• New intruder legislation and the importance of compliance

• Emerging technologies in Access Control and the changes they bring

Demonstration Pods

Norbain will be talking with visitors about system design for IP and integrated network security systems. The focus will be on how to design a complete system across multiple brands and solutions rather than on individual pieces of kit. There will be an emphasis on wireless, remote and mobile connectivity to demonstrate what’s possible with IP and the opportunities that network video affords installers. Integration across CCTV, access control and intruder will be demonstrated.

For more information, or to register for one of the seminars visit the firm’s dedicated IFSEC site: www.norbain.com/ifsec.
