NVT at IFSEC

Network Video Technologies (NVT), has just released TBus UTP/Ethernet-over-Coax Transmission product series. NVT are at IFSEC 2013: Stand 5B55 (Hall 5, number B55).

TBus is short for “Transmission Bus”; it’s the backbone communications architecture for the company’s range of IP transmission devices. TBus supports all forms of UTP and coax cable, as well as 18/2, 2-wire (un-twisted wire), and STP (shielded twisted-pair), and in any combination of star, peer-to-peer, or daisy-chain cabling topology.

TBus delivers 56VDC power for remote transceivers as well as their remote PoE devices (IP cameras, etc.). Loads of up to 1 amp are possible, supporting high power PoE+ devices up to 50 watts. TBus supports advanced 128-bit AES encrypted network speeds of up to 200Mbps. Data distances of 8,000ft are possible on RG59/U.

TBus transmitters include the single-port NV-ET1801 and the four-port NV-ET1804 TBus receivers include the four-port NV-ER1804, the eight-port NV-ER1808i, and the 16-port NV-1816i. The eight and 16-port receivers are 1U rack-mountable, and contain browser-based management tools. NVT products are UL, cUL, CE, RoHS, and WEEE compliant, and are backed by NVT’s limited lifetime warranty and customer support.
