PTZ domes

After the launch of the first Super LoLux HD cameras in 2012, JVC Professional is now expanding this range with the addition of two new Direct Drive PTZ domes.

These new IP network cameras are the makers say suitable for many applications, especially those involving low light, demanding multi stream operations, or requiring advanced directional mechanisms (Direct Drive 2) without the requirement for regular service and maintenance, it is claimed.

These new PTZ camera models the VN-H657U (indoor) and the VN-H657WPU (outdoor), feature new 1080p CMOS sensors, dual and triple stream performance, and multi-codec support – including MJPEG, H.264 Base and H.264 High Profile. The products can store footage on SD cards. JVC’s Super LoLux HD technology offers high-definition resolution and light sensitivity, producing colour images in it’s claimed virtually zero lux conditions. These new cameras also feature 3D dynamic noise reduction and support the latest ONVIF standard for network cameras (Profile S type) as well as High POE functionality. The new VN-H657U and VN-H657WPU camera series will be available end of March 2013.
