ISO 27001 standard

by Mark Rowe

The TALL Group of Companies, the UK provider of secure paper and electronic payments, has been re-accredited to the ISO 27001 standard. The company kept the international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems after a five-day audit, completed remotely.

The company has held the Information Security Management Standard (ISMS) for 15 years. The audit, held across TALL’s Runcorn and Hinckley sites, involved daily calls, interviews, sharing of policies, procedures and evidence of compliance.

Debbie Dowler, Quality & Compliance Director, said: “As regulations and standards to protect our customers data increase, and cyberattacks become ever more sophisticated, the TALL Group faces growing complexity in keeping sensitive client information secure. Our ISO27001 accreditation ensures that we meet the highest level of information security management in protecting client data.”

And Martin Ruda, pictured, Group Managing Director of the TALL Group of Companies, said: “Receiving the ISO 27001 certification is a significant accomplishment, which is thanks to all our committed staff across both sites who worked tirelessly to maintain our excellent standards. This certification is the latest milestone in our information security roadmap to continuously demonstrate our commitment to data security, best security practice and risk management for our customers.”

The TALL Group holds other accreditations, including Cyber Essentials PLUS, Investors in People, the ISO9001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental Management Standards. Visit https://tallgroup.co.uk/.
