According to the makers, L@titude will also enable users create what they term a fully customisable life safety system thanks to addressable loop detection circuits, conventional detection circuits, relay cards and additional sounder outputs. The panel can hold up to 64 operator profiles, giving a range of programmable access levels to building owners, facilities managers and those responsible for fire safety in a property.

The product can also record up to 9,999 events and incidents, providing details of system activity. As well as being customisable, the modular product is also expandable, the makers add.

Paul Adams, marketing manager at Hochiki Europe said: “Recognising patterns in life safety system activity can be a crucial element in preventing fire-incidents and cutting down on false alarms. Our new L@titude platform is ideal for customers looking for a powerful but user-friendly addressable fire control panel.”

The first generation of L@titude operates using two to eight loops with networking for up to 32 nodes, and can support up to 2,000 zones and zone LED indicators, making it suitable it is claimed for large sites such as hospitals and shopping centres. More capacity and features will be phased into the product, the company adds. L@titude will be available exclusively through Hochiki Europe’s Systems Partners network of BAFE accredited system integrators.
