Christmas Jumper Day

by Mark Rowe

On Friday, December 12, staff at Unipart Security Solutions head office are taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

Now in its third year, the Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day has raised over £1.6m by asking people to wear a festive jumper for one day and donate £2. This year the government has vowed to double the money raised by the charity; £2 will be turned into £4 to help save lives, say organisers.

The security company is raising money by asking colleagues to don their most festive jumper for the day and donate £2 by texting TEAMUSS to 70050. Jumpers can be jazzed up at home with tinsel or bought from George at Asda (official retail partner for Save the Children).

Unipart Security Solutions is hoping to raise more money by appealing to the cake-lovers in the team with a festive bake-sale. Yum yum …

Watch out for mug shots on the day via Twitter @UnipartSecurity and @USS_MARC and please help the cause by texting TEAMUSS to 70050. Visit www.unipartsecurity.co.uk. Pictured are some Unipart staff at the 2013 jumper day.
