Guard firm’s software choice

by Mark Rowe

Cuff Security Services has recently selected workforce management software, to manage their staff scheduling, control room and patrol operations. Cuff Security Services, set up in 2009, reviewed the products available and after demonstrations, Logosoft was found to meet operational requirements.

Bromsgrove-based Logosoft says that its management information system and manpower scheduling tool provides access to all of the information for the user to plan and run business. The system includes facilities for personnel and contract management, key holding and alarm response, automatic roster creation, generation of payroll and billing output and mobile patrol management.

Features include:
• planning up to 12 months ahead, with allocated hours and shifts clearly illustrated in a table format;
• User-friendly scheduling – ‘Auto-Schedule’ allows users to automatically assign staff to particular assignments based on criteria such as job requirements, employee attributes and training;
• Virtually eliminates payroll and billing discrepancies with corresponding administrative savings and cash flow improvements;
• Provides a range of pre-defined reports with in-built end-user query and reporting tools to support informed management decision making.

Jon Humphries-Cuff, Managing Director of Gloucester-based Cuff, said: “With the introduction of Logosoft to our constantly growing business the solution will be an invaluable tool in the day-to-day management of operations. This is a major step forward for our organisation in meeting the ever increasing requirements of our client base, and supports our strategic vision of enhancing security through the use of technology to provide a more efficient service.”
