Regional personnel awards

by Mark Rowe

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced the winners of its Regional Security Personnel Awards 2015.

Now in their 17th year, the Security Personnel Awards mark the achievements and long-term contributions made by those working in the UK’s private security industry. Awards are presented across five categories: Best Team, Outstanding Act, Service to the Customer, Best Newcomer and Best Use of Technology. This year’s regional round sees 33 winners awarded across all five categories in all regions of the UK.

James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA, says: “Each year, the Security Personnel Awards serve to demonstrate the high calibre of individuals employed within our industry. These awards recognise a range of qualities, from quick thinking in an emergency to excellence in customer service and the successful use of creative solutions to solve problems on behalf of clients.

“The BSIA prides itself upon representing the very best in the security industry and the outstanding contributions made by our regional award winners certainly show that our members employ people to be proud of. We are extremely honoured to be associated with the talent displayed by our winners and look forward to presenting them with their awards.”

The award presentations will take place across the UK, with each of the regional winners being put forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will then be presented with their awards at the Association’s annual lunch in London on July 15.

The BSIA thank Camberford Law plc – the specialist insurance brokers to the security industry – who have sponsored the awards since they began.
