Sales director

Venture Security has appointed Michael McGarry as sales director.

Venture, based in Andover, provides security services to corporate and residential customers based across Hampshire and central, southern England.

As sales director, Michael will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with new and existing clients, with a key focus being the expansion of the company’s mobile patrols and key holding services.

A veteran of the sales and hospitality industry, Michael joins with more than 20 years’ business development experience. This includes five years as managing director at a regional catering and events firm, and being director of sales EMEA for hospitality technology company Cendyn. Michael is also a keen martial artist. He is President of the World Council of Ju Jitsu Organisations and has been director of the Great British Ju Jitsu squad for the last eight years.

Michael said: “I have known Paul Howe and the team at Venture for many years – even calling on their services myself for sporting events I have been involved with in the past. I’m delighted to now be joining the company, as it enters the next stage in its development. What really appealed to me about the role is that Venture is a values-driven company.
