by msecadm4921

The CARTES in Asia exposition and conference is running  on March 28 and 29, 2012 in Hong Kong.

From the ID and card personalisation product company Datacard Group, Suzanne Lockhart, senior government business development manager for the company, will be speaking.

The session, titled “eGovernment and mGovernment Challenges: Enhancing Identity and Improving Services” will be given on March 28, at 11.30 a.m. The presentation is part of the ID Management and eGovernment track and will provide an analysis of global and regional trends in eGovernment and mGovernment deployments, as well as the associated risks, advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of the citizen, public and private sector user for these applications.  Lockhart will give a summary and educational overview of the social, policy and technology issues that surround these applications.

“We are continuing to see eGovernment as a much more effective way for governments to increase efficiency and enhance security and identity capabilities,” says Lockhart. “Also, with the rapid development of mobile technology happening across so many industries, the ability for governments to interact and provide services via mobile platforms is becoming increasingly evident.”

Lockhart manages the Government Business Development Group in the Asia Pacific region for Datacard Group. Datacard Group is exhibiting at CARTES in Asia, stand #3D034.
