Bannerbridge plc and Datacard Group have partnered to offer Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has new identity card printers issuing thousands of accreditation and ID badges each year at the world famous Lord’s Cricket Ground.
ID printer manufacturer Datacard Group and product supplier Bannerbridge plc, a Datacard Group Enterprise Solutions Provider, partnered to supply the St John’s Wood club. Lord’s hosts roughly 60 days of cricket and hundreds of events each year. At big games, thousands of staff, contractors, media and marketing staff and stewards have to wear accreditation badges when on the ground. MCC wanted to update their existing card printers to ensure higher productivity and quality of their cards.
Robin Stimpson of MCC said: “We had previously been using another brand of ID card printers, located in various departments around the grounds. However, following a review of our accreditation process, we determined that our old card printers were reaching the end of their useful life, so it was definitely time to upgrade. We wanted a reliable solution that would give us newer printing technology, as well as increased efficiency in printing – since we print over 7,000 cards each year.”
After research and consulting with Bannerbridge, Marylebone chose seven of the Datacard SD260 card printers. Bannerbridge also helped with setting up of each printer.
