Consultants and installers can download an Online Updater, from Samsung Techwin’s website (www.samsungsecurity.co.uk/producttools), so that customers and third parties have the most up to date versions of a range of product tools to assist with system design and product comparison and selection, system set-up and management.

Among the other product tools which can now be kept updated via the Online Updater is a system design tool, cameras field of view and network bandwidth requirement calculators and a device manager which can assist with the configuration and management of multiple network devices. The Online Updater also provides access to the latest versions of Samsung Techwin’s product documentation.

The iPolis Toolbox app, which can be used on compatible smartphones and tablets, is available on iTunes and the Android market. It lets you use the product selector and field of view and network bandwidth requirement calculation tools; other product tools will be added during early 2014.
