Securitas Technology launch

by Mark Rowe

Securitas Technology has launched, bringing together the electronic security side of Securitas and STANLEY Security. This comes after Securitas’ acquisition of STANLEY Security in July 2022.

Securitas Technology Global President, Tony Byerly said: “We’re thrilled to officially launch Securitas Technology and share with clients the tremendous value we bring as a security partner. We have three distinct advantages as a global provider: our people, technology and knowledge. I’m incredibly proud of the organisation we’re building together and the rich history and deep industry expertise that help make us a leader in the market.”

UK Commercial Leader, Vincent Poty said: “With Securitas Technology, we are creating something different and unique in electronic security. It reflects our sense of service, technology expertise and capacity for innovation, that together will support our clients in a changing world.”

And UK Head of Electronic Security, Arthur Agnew said: “It is a hugely exciting time for all involved and we can’t wait to show people the potential Securitas Technology can help them to realise – as clients, as employees, and in many other capacities.”

Securitas Technology employs about 13,000 worldwide, including more than 5,100 field technicians; over 500 in the UK. The firm offers video, access, intrusion, fire and integrated systems and services, from design and installation to monitoring and analytics.

Byerly added: “Our purpose to help make the world a safer place remains, and that starts with ensuring clients are at the heart of all we do. As a fully integrated business focused on security technology, we are well-positioned to unlock even more value for our clients – whether they’re local, regional, national or global and have a single site to secure or need a complex and comprehensive multisite enterprise security program.”
