Supplier of the year awards

by Mark Rowe

WF Senate, the electrical wholesaler, ran its supplier of the year awards, on March 5. Five winners came from three categories; Eaton won the overall award with Schneider Electric and JCC following.

The awards, launched in 2007, are designed to thank suppliers. Voted by Company Directors, Branch Managers and Head Office staff at WF Senate, suppliers were scored in a range of areas, including product quality, sales support and delivery performance.

Held at the Four Star Country House Hotel, Coombe Abbey in Coventry, the awards were presented by guest speaker and Formula One motor racing industry man Mark Gallagher.

In the Best Innovative Product Award, Collingwood Lighting won with its Wirefield EYE-WI. This lighting control has no limit to the quantity of luminaries that can be controlled in the system; each wireless luminarie is programmed to operate using drag and drop menus on the EYE-WI lighting control.

Collingwood Lighting was also presented with an overall Special Recognition Award, which rounded off the evening. Visit www.wfsenate.co.uk.
