The Taiwanese CCTV product company VIVOTEK has launched its 720p HD speed dome network camera, the model SD8333-E. This camera has all of the features of VIVOTEK’s latest speed dome camera SD8364E, such as a 30x optical zoom lens, NEMA 4X-rated housing, image defog, a wide temperature range and electronic image stabilization (EIS), the makers say.
Featuring a 720p HD CMOS sensor, WDR Pro (offering wide dynamic range) and removable infrared-cut filter, SD8333-E is able to deliver images under challenging lighting conditions around the clock, the makers say. With a 30x optical zoom lens, the camera can capture images in fine detail, it is claimed. The product offers 360 degree continuous pan and 220 degree extended tilt range, to effectively eliminate dead angles, according to the firm. Protected by IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated housing and capable of a wide operating temperature range of between minus 40 degrees C to 55 degrees C, the camera body is safe from rain, dust and corrosion, and operates under extreme weather, making it suitable the maker say for monitoring indoors and outdoors. An image de-fog feature enables the SD8333-E to capture clear images under foggy conditions while the EIS technology eliminates camera vibration caused by wind and stabilises the image.
