IP CCTV entry level camera

by Mark Rowe

IDS have recently added the new GV-EBL2101 GeoVision camera to their range of IP CCTV. This light weight, entry level camera, is the latest addition to the Target series. Designed for outdoor use, offering IK10 vandal resistance and IP67 ingress protection it offers the essentials and quality imaging. Where the EBL2101 comes into its own, the electronic security product company adds, is in its low lux performance.

With an automatic infra red-cut filter and 24 IR LEDs it presents infrared illumination for night vision applications (maximum IR distance 75m). For image quality, the camera has an in-built P-iris lens for auto iris adjustment allowing precise control of exposure, producing images with more clarity and contrast. As for installation the camera supports PoE (Power over Ethernet).
