The CCTV distributor Cop Security has launched the new Nexus IP range into their analogue and HD-SDI portfolio.
The Nexus IP range offers products suitable for those new to IP and the experienced installer, the firm says. Offering direct plug and play with POE, up to 3 megapixel digital images and large storage network recorders means the Nexus range offers flexibility, performance and easy installation. The Nexus IP cameras offer huge benefits in terms of image quality and all come with features such as dual streaming and WDR. Whether you’re a first time IP installer or an advanced user, Nexus cameras will always provide the right solution, the company says.
The range consists of infra-red mini domes, vandal domes, IR vandal domes, internal domes and a selection of IR bullet cameras. All the cameras have a 1.3 or 3 megapixel options and a large range of lens sizes including motorised versions that be controlled from the NVR for ease of installation. All the cameras also have day/night with IR cut, and digital wide dynamic range (WDR) and come fully IP66 weatherproof.
The higher specification Nexus IP cameras offer extra features such as alarms, microphones and micro SD card support which allows direct backup for when a network becomes unstable. Along with the launch of the static IP cameras, COP will also be introducing two new high specification IP IR PTZ domes into the Nexus range. Both the PTZ domes come with 2 megapixel capabilities and offer a 20x optical zoom lens (+16x digital). The speed domes also come with powerful IR illuminators capable of reaching up to 150m at full power and the top of the range dome also offers an auto tracking feature and wiper.
