Server, video software partnership

by Mark Rowe

The German firm SeeTec AG and BCDVideo, the US manufacturer of IP recording products for the video surveillance market, have announced a partnership for SeeTec Cayuga and the BCDVideo product family.

Since the year 2000 SeeTec has developed and distributed software for video security applications. BCDVideo is HP’s authorised Global OEM IP Video Partner. The BCDVideo Technology Center and the SeeTec Technology Trust have certified each other’s products and agreed on an official Technology Partnership.

The companies say that the joint solution of BCDVideo recording server and SeeTec software is suitable for a range of video surveillance projects – covering mid-size and large projects, as well as industries like logistics, retail, finance and critical infrastructure.

Daniel Bechler, Strategic Alliances Manager at SeeTec, said: “We have always our eyes open for reliable and cutting-edge solutions in the market to expand our portfolio. We are more than happy to announce our Technology Partnership with BCDVideo as they have a great experience in their field of work and a big customer base. Using the combination of SeeTec and BCDVideo, offer customers an improved performance. That’s what we are eager for.”

And Jeff Burgess, pictured, BCDVideo company founder and President, said: “SeeTec’s customers can be assured that their project will run seamlessly on a scalable and reliable platform, tested to support Cayuga. We take great pride in both our ability to fully support SeeTec’s family of products as well as our ongoing technology partnership with SeeTec.”
