View video management at ST13

by Mark Rowe

Fresh from the European launch of its CatVision IP video mangement software at IFSEC 2013, Cathexis Europe will be demonstrating its VMS solution at the Security TWENTY 13 conference, at the Hammersmith Novotel hotel in London on July 3.

Catvision is a video management solution for installers, integrators and end users. You are invited to download a free trial version from www.cathexiseu.com to try it.

Cathexis sales director Mark Ross says: “CatVision generated a lot of interest at IFSEC, primarily because we have produced a powerful VMS which addresses the specific needs of those installing and using IP video security systems. This means CatVision is extremely easy to load, configure and commission. To reduce complexity, we have introduced a Wizard process that takes the engineer through the entire camera set-up process step by step. Multiple cameras can be added with just a few clicks. To save even more time, the recording configuration process is equally simple, incorporating a ‘cut and paste’ option to set up multiple identical events, rather than having to do them all one by one.

“The end result is a simple and easy-to-use engineer interface overlaying a very powerful VMS platform, meaning less training, less time on site and easier maintenance. And Cathexis backs this up with the highest levels of support in the industry.”

CatVision supports the ONVIF interoperability standard, and integrates with the majority of IP camera brands including Acam, ACTi , AMG Panogenics, Arecont Vision, Axis, Bosch, Canon, Hikvision, Honeywell, Mobotix, Oncam, Panasonic, Pelco, Samsung, Sony, and Vivotek.

Installers, end users, consultants, people who work with private security in the police or the armed forces, and buyers of security services will qualify as a VIP and be able to attend the Security TWENTY 13 conference free – if they register in advance. Manufacturers are able to attend on a manufacturer delegate or exhibitor package.
