Charity cycling challenge

by Mark Rowe

On September 5, Greg Stuttle of GJD will start a three day charity cycling challenge. Greg, the Business Development Manager at the external detector equipment manufacturer, will be one of 200 cyclists aiming to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Greg is pictured on a similar ride last year. He said: “I completed this ride with my brother John last year and it inspired six of my friends to join me this year, so we created ‘The Essex Boys Team’. We hope to raise at least £600 between us.”

On day one Greg and his team will ride about 70 miles to Hythe on the coast in Kent, just South of Folkestone. Day two starts at a village near the Channel Tunnel and the team will cycle 85 miles to Amiens. On the final day, the team will ride 90 miles from there to the finish line at the Palace of Versailles, outside Paris.
