Salvador Torras is the detector product company GJD’s new Spanish and Portuguese Sales Consultant. Salvador, pictured, has worked in the security industry since 1995 in various product management roles. Salvador brings experience of providing local commercial support, as well as creating and maintaining relationships with Spanish and Portuguese security distribution companies.
GJD says Salvador will help to develop the firm’s distribution networks, secure supply contracts and manage new product launches. Salvador said: “GJD has a world class reputation and I am thrilled to be joining an award winning team.” And Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “I am delighted to welcome Salvador to GJD. Salvador’s extensive experience and knowledge of the security industry in Spain and Portugal will be a fantastic asset to GJD”.
GJD points to its increased customer base with the acquisition of Embsec’s product technology and intellectual property rights, as well as acquiring Radiovisor’s infra-red beam and barrier technology, plus all related intellectual property rights. GJD received the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade and the BSIA Chairman’s Award for its contribution to export trade.
