Specialized Security Products Ltd (SSP) are launching a new range of magnetic locks that will consume only half the power of the traditional equivalent maglocks and help reduce your carbon footprint, the firm says.
SSP have been working with the manufacturer to bring environmentally friendly products to market that will help combat our carbon footprint, without sacrificing the performance expected from traditional maglocks. Maglocks in SSP’s new ECO range will have the same physical sizes and holding strengths as their ‘Slim’ and ‘Standard’ types; but, with only half the power consumption. The ‘Slim’ and ‘Standard’ ECO maglocks can produce a holding force of up to 275kg and 545kg respectively, using only 3 watts of power. There’s also no need to worry about the compatibility of SSP’s brackets and accessories because they will fit ECO and non-ECO products.
