EPC-UK at CTX

by Mark Rowe

EPC-UK returned to the Counter Terror Expo 2014 (CTX) to showcase its specialist, integrated solutions in the supply, storage and transportation of defence and security products.

Visitors to the stand were able to see a range of less-lethal munitions exclusively available in the UK from EPC-UK, including the Black Jack integrated initiation system for explosive methods of entry, Flash-Bangs, Sting-Balls and Super-Sock batons.

Part of the EPC Groupe, EPC-UK is the sole UK agent for manufacturers such as Combined Systems Inc., as well as an agent for the likes of Eurenco Bofors, Explosia and Event Horizon. Many of their products were on display at Counter Terror Expo, giving visitors the opportunity to examine the crowd control technology.

While the exhibition stand focussed on less-lethal munitions and delivery systems, EPC-UK has been keen to highlight the value-added nature of its integrated solutions.

Joe Doherty of EPC-UK said: “In addition to our extensive range of products and accessories, EPC-UK offers extensive secure and bonded storage facilities, plus a multimodal transport network for hazardous chemicals, Class 1, Section 5 and protectively marked goods. The Counter Terror Expo has been the ideal arena to demonstrate how our values of safety and professionalism extend to all areas of our business.”
