DirectIP adds

by Mark Rowe

At IFSEC, IDIS launched a new range of monitors and cameras, extending its DirectIP products. The range of 32 to 98-inch full-HD and Ultra High-Definition monitors suit a range of security applications the makers say. The range features metal chasses, less image sticking, anti-glare and active backlit control for consistent brightness with a selection of interfaces.

Offered is a security monitor of 98-inches, plus a 3.6mm bezel to bezel 55-inch video wall monitor. IDIS includes a five year life of 24/7 operation and low power consumption, up to 30 per cent lower than competitive models it is claimed.

Also launched during IFSEC were 4k cameras at 30 images per second (ips) performance with no visible network latency. Greg Kulesza, IDIS Technical Manager, pictured, said: “UHD and 4k technology presents a huge leap forward in quality and resolution, especially for users of legacy analogue CCTV. With our range of monitors, we further extend our one-stop-shop philosophy by offering customers everything required to build a cost-effective and powerful—yet simple to install—networked and full-HD surveillance solution.”
