Ghana distribution

WAMA, a Hong Kong based CCTV company, has appointed Technic Management & Quality Business Solutions Ghana Limited (TMQ) as its distributor in Ghana.

TMQ provides CCTV, intrusion detection, access control and general security supplies in Ghana and West Africa.

Dr Wallace Ma, CEO of WAMA said: “The team in TMQ is well experienced in the security industry of West Africa. We are very pleased with the newly formed partnership with TMQ, with their expertise and support, we are confident to provide not only high-quality video surveillance products but also excellent services to the Ghanaian market.”

WAMA products have been installed at multiple locations in Ghana, including a major gold mine. Ghana is Africa’s second biggest gold producer after South Africa and gold is an important mineral that contributes about 35pc of the country’s total exports. The well-known mining group installed over 100pcs WAMA cameras and 4pcs 36-channel WAMA network recorders for safety and security monitoring purposes around the mining site.
